John Loridon

The Belgian basketball legend John Loridon was born 5 April, 1937 in Antwerp, Belgium. The 205-centimeters-tall center played the majority of his career with Alemannia Aachen (1961-1963) and Racing Mechelen (1963-1970).

Loridon made his EuroLeague debut in 1962/63 season with Alemannia Aachen team, averaging 17.0 points per game. His other four seasons in the EuroLeague came in the Racing Mechelen jersey. In total, Loridon played five seasons in the EuroLeague, scoring 338 points in 37 games, averaging 9.1 points per game.

On the national level, Loridon won four Belgian League titles with Racing Mechelen team, and one German Bundesliga title in 1963.

The Belgian center played in five Eurobasket editions, averaging 9.2 points per game. In his EuroLeague and international games from 1957 to 1970, Loridon scored 677 points in 74 games.
